论公民宗教

| 摘要： | 通过对卢梭的政治哲学和涂尔干的宗教社会学的策略性折返,本文探讨了由贝拉重新诠释的公民宗教概念所隐含的某些基本命题,分析了可欲的公民宗教的性质、功能和建构原则。作者指出,公民宗教是现代社会之神圣性的非宗教表述,它的基础是法治和公民社会,建构公民宗教的出发点和归宿在于保卫名副其实的社会,为此必须坚守共和价值,并将民族道德与人类道德统一起来。 |
| 英文摘要： | By a strategic return to Rousseau’s political philosophy and Durkheim’s sociology of religion，this article discusses the fundamental theses implied in Robert N. Bellah’s reinterpreted notion of civil religion，and analyses the nature，function and constructive principles of a desirable civil religion. The author argues that civil religion is a non-religious expression of the sacredness of modern society，and that it should be based on a rule-of-law state and a civil society. Both the starting point and the aim of such a civil religion consist in defending a society worthy of the name. According to this view，republican values must be insisted on，and national morality must be compatible with humanity’s morality. |
