时间的系统构成——卢曼社会系统理论中的时间概念
| 英文标题： | The Systematic Composition of Time:The Concept of Time in Niklas Luhmann’s Theory of Social Systems |
| 摘要： | 卢曼始终将“时间”视为社会系统理论的核心要素。从篇幅上来看，他对时间的诸多探讨也的确足以汇总成一部皇皇巨著。然而，卢曼从未对他自己的时间研究进行整理，因此学界对其时间理论既重视又困惑。本文尝试指出，卢曼的时间理论实际上并非全然一贯。在其系统理论发展历程中，卢曼曾将社会系统的构成元素从“行动”修改成“沟通”，时间也因而从原先的“发挥化约复杂性的功能”增添了“系统的存在所绽出的维度”这一面向。而这样一种修正过的时间理论既为社会学解决了“时间的社会性”与“社会的时间性”之间长久以来的矛盾，亦指出了当代社会唯有改革与变迁才能持续存在。 |
| 英文摘要： | Niklas Luhmann’s system theory considers“time”as a central element of social functioning.His many discussions of time are indeed large enough to be summarized in a masterpiece.His theory of time,however,are never integrated,and therefore both important and elusive to the academic community.This paper attempts to show that Luhmann’s theory of time is in fact not entirely consistent.In the course of the development of systems theory,Luhmann modified the constituent elements of social systems from“action”to“communication”.And in addition to the dimension of“reduction of complexity”,“ecstasy of existence of social system”is also explained as the other dimension of time.Such a revised theory of time not only resolves the long-standing contradiction between the“sociality of time”and the “temporality of society”for sociology,but also points out that the only way for contemporary society to continue to exist is through reform and change. |
