The research of occupational careers analyses social acto r' s nature of a series of occupatio n position and the ty pes of occupation developments and occupational strategies in division of labor.It is also called research of work histo ry .The methods of the studies include questionnaire , interview , oral history and so o n .There are three mainly overlapped theoretic framew orks, w hich are framew ork of social structure , social process and category . In a word , the research of occupational career contributes to understand tw o kinds of interaction relations between social action and social construction , and betw een social position and social consciousness, both are the most basic sociological issues .
