This thesis is to criticize the definition of reasonable behavio r,w hich coupled w ith economic man , construct the premises of new classic economists.Acco rding to them,  reasonable behavior has two characteristics.The first one is pursuing benefit of oneself .The critique is, on the one hand ,reasonable behavior is no t necessarily correlated with self , and it could be used to pursue benefit of g roup or nation ;on the other hand , material benefit is no t the only motive of human being , struggle for recognition is another important mo tive , they are too different to be considered as one thing .The second one is that reason is the best selection of plan .The critique is, on the o ne hand , reason is just a course of thinking , so w rong selection is possible ;on the o ther hand , reason is not the only means to an end , custom is another impo rtant means .
