| 摘要： | 在流动的社会环境中,个人不断协商自我身份认同,而性别是这些协商的核心组成部分。在向后殖民社会转型的背景下,香港的女医生在"传统"与"现代"之间协商自己的身份。在阶级身份、行业阶层的互相作用下,性别协商强化了个人无能感,并复制了男性中心工作制度与父权意识。性别既是意识形态又是实践,必须在特定的历史与场景之中去分析性别差异和个人能动性的互动关系,才能了解性别与社会文化的关系。 |
| 英文摘要： | Individuals constantly negotiate their identitiesin fluid social environments, and gender is an integral part of this negotiation .As Hong Kong flounders in a postcolonial transformation, its women doctors strive to anchor themselves between tradition and modernity .They find themselvesin a dilemma:while medicine is considered “modern” and “masculine” , as women they must manifest “ traditional” and “ feminine” qualities . Together with classidentity and occupational hierarchy , gender negotiations have reinforced their individual helplessness, and have reproduced a male-centered work system and a patriarchal ideology .The paper concludes that gender is both ideology and praxis.As such, it is important that researchers must historicize and contextualize , and through analyzing the interaction between gender difference and individual agency , seek to understand the relationship between gender and culture. |
