英语学术界的乡村转型研究

| 摘要： | 英语学术界的乡村社会学与乡村研究并未消失或停滞。根据在Rural Sociology,Journal of Rural Studies,Sociologia Ruralis这三种英文期刊上发表的文献,乡村社会研究在最近30多年来大体经历了从现代主义到新乡村社会学、再到乡村研究文化转向的流变;除了各类具体论题外,围绕何谓乡村而形成的实体论与建构论,围绕什么是乡村转型而提出的生产主义与后生产主义的辩论,以及关于农村和农村研究的去农业化、去社区化的争议,都值得注意和玩味。 |
| 英文摘要： | Rural sociology in the English literature didn't disappear or stagnate in the past several decades. According to Rural Sociology, Journal of Rural Studies, and Sociologia Ruralis--the three major English journals in rural sociology, rural studies in the past 30 years have not evolved from Modernism to New Rural Sociology, and then to " The Cultural Turn". While there are many important discussions within the field of rural sociology, some of the most fundamental questions have not yet to be answered. For example, the debate between ontological and constructionist theories on the definition of "rural", the debate between productivist and post-productivist theories on the meaning of rural restructuring, and the research on de-agrarianization and de-communization are all worthwhile topics to explore and should be given further consideration in the future. |
